A delegation from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology including Dr. Robert Balch and Dr. Tan Win. visited the Acting Vice President for the Academic Affairs, Dr. Fahd Al-Fadhli, in preparation for the signing of the joint MoU between Kuwait University and New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. The MoU will be an opportunity for more joint cooperation in the field of research and student exchange. It is worth noting that the visit began at the College of Engineering and Petroleum, where the delegation was received by Prof. Issa Al-Safran from the Department of Petroleum Engineering and the Dean of the College, Prof. Khaled Al-Hazza.

The delegation gave a lecture to the students and professors of the college and visited the laboratories of the public facilities of the Petroleum Engineering Department. The delegation also visited Kuwait Oil Company and Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research.
