Kuwait University signs MoU with The Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS)

Prof. AlSaeed: Kuwait University contributes effectively to providing academic cadres in Kuwait's institutions.

Dr. AlFarhan: Kuwait University takes on crucial role by providing exceptional human capabilities, outcomes and research that contributed to the advancement and prosperity in the country
 



In enhancement of KU role with the local and international institutions and in order to boost the role of research and collaboration, Kuwait University and The Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) signed MoU. The event was attended by KU Acting President Prof Osama Al-Saeed, Director General Dr. Amina Rajab Farhan, Prof. Ali Boumejdad consultant of research and technology department, Dr. Abrar AlMousa, Director of the department of building research capabilities from KFAS, and Acting Vice-President for Research Prof. May AlBader and Acting Vice President Dr. Fahad AlFadhli.

In this regard, Acting KU President has mentioned that KU fulfills an effective function by providing the scientific cadres to the institutions of Kuwait, which significantly contribute in the developmental plans, stressing KFAS's role in supporting developmental programs that qualifies members of KU of Academic Staff, Support Academic Staff , researches and students in all research collaborations. AlSaeed also expressed gratitude to KFAS for the continuous collaboration which has been a reason in the process of advancement and  prosperity for Kuwait.

On her side, General Director of KFAS Dr. Amina AlFarhan  stressed the importance of KU role in providing distinguished human capabilities, outcomes and research that has contributed to the process of development and prosperity. She also has pointed out to the launch of the first Kuwaiti satellite "Kuwait Sat 1" by KU with the support of KFAS as the greatest accomplishment on both local and regional levels. Dr. AlFarhan expressed its pleasure in continuing the collaboration between KFAS and KU resulting in the development and prosperity of the State of Kuwait
